About Aleseum and Utopia

 

With artistic license, Monte Zufelt extrapolates from Homer's dialogue describing the fields of paradise on the western edge of earth originally intended  for mortals related to the gods.

 

Over time this came to include all who were righteous and heroic. Using a play on words the artist describes  a perfect union of harmony with Aleseum reaching up toward Utopia, as Utopia is the perfect place to reside.

To be chosen by the mythological gods of  ancient past,  it was a divine honour to live in perfect bliss with one's love.

 

In this euphoric  state of energy, happiness abounds without limit as each basks in each other's light represented by their stars.
